Tried version 3. It worked good until I installed the classic skin. locked up my phone. Had to reboot in safe mode and uninstall. I reverted to V2 till they get the bugs worked out, or I figure out what went wrong.

No bugs so far here... using the classic skin from their site. Like the click sound when you tap the keys, the gesture navigation is kinda weird for a keyboard and takes some time getting used to it.

V3 set itself as my default SIP, V2 had an option to toogle this and V3 does not have it... anyone remember the way to do this without SIPChange?

I had it like that wit V2 so I know it's possible...

When you press on the option button then just slide for more options. I think if you slide to the left 2 then it will show the option to set as default SIP

I didn't see anyone mention this but if you have V2 Professional you can upgrade for free to V3. The link is on the bottom of their website under the register section.

Just as a note to V2 users with TouchPal installed to your ext ROM. To get V3 to work properly uninstall V2 and reinstall to SD. Uninstall and install V3. Yeah it's a lot to do but it seems the only way to do it, since V3 won't install to the ext ROM. I had tried just uninstalling and installing V3 but this caused lockups.

Cootek says they will have a skin for V3 that resembles V2 out in a few days.

I think you are referring to the "Classic" skin. That is just a skin that was originaly made to look more like the colors of V2. They are building a skin that will more resemble the actual V2 skin. Here is a link to Cootek's comment on this. I also see you posted on this link yesterday.

ok ill wait now. i love v3 its just so ugly, even with the other skins. hopefully when they release this is will be a face uplift for it. v2 really looks nice, and since v3 is an upgrade, it should look at least as good if not better that the previous version
