I tried this and I don't like it that much. I like version 1 and 2 over this, most likely because of the looks. Right now I'm using Resco Keyboard PRO and its getting the job done

I've got V3 installed on my memory card with no issues. The "new" version of the classic skin is good enough for me, mainly because the font is cleaner looking. I still don't understand all the people wanting V3 to look like the old V2 anyway. It's a new program, with a new look, and it is really growing on me personally. Besides, I care first about how it works, and IMO it's a giant step from V2, once you get the feel of it. I personally can type even faster with it than V2 and that was pretty fast. My buddies at work have taken to calling me the "text Ninja" LOL! :toothy10:

If it is an upgrade then let it LOOK like one as well!!! When they get the version that was in the preview which is basically the V.2 (original) skin without it looking like crap then I will most definitlely install...That is what "All the people" want!!!

I haven't used TouchPal since the very first beta version so I don't know what the previous version's skin looked like but this is a screen shot of version 3 with the classic skin from cootek's website on my device. It looks pretty good to me.

Their classic skin looks very good on the v3. The letters/signs are very crisp (better than v2)

I fully agree. I have used all three versions and found the stock V3 skin to be quite ugly, but the classic skin for V3 is, IMHO, great.

This is the difference. V2 and V3 with the classic skin. The font is different, but it's lots closer than the stock V3 skin. and according to their forum a fix is in the works. They are listening, and working to get it right. I'm still OK with the V3 classic skin for now, but figured I'd pass it along for those waiting to upgrade(which I still don't understand, and am trying real hard to)

That helps. Thanks! Still don't know why just that issue alone would cause someone not to upgrade but to each his own.

loaded v3 again, with the new skin and segoe UI cab and i must say i actually prefer the new look. im happy with this now.
