What is the best IM app for Yahoo

Hey guys, I've been using the Instant Messenger client that came with my Touch and it worked great in the beginning. I have over 100 Yahoo IM contacts on my list and it used to populate the list of "online" contacts fairly quickly. Now when I log in, it takes a long time for my currently online contacts to show up on my "online" groups. I usually get some kind of failure notification, but forgot to note it when I saw it last. After the IM client has been up for a while it doesn't give me the notification and the list populates to the state it was previously, even if I close the client in task manager. Even at this stage, even 5 hours after I start the client, I don't believe my whole list of on-line contacts show up. Many people who are actually on-line show up as offline. Is anyone else having this slow Yahoo IM list sync issue? Also, this only seems to have this issue after my client has been turned off for a long period of time.
