I have followed all instructions: new phoneskin folder created and placed all vistaphone files into phoneskin folder. After soft reset, my original phone skin still displays. How do you tell it to cose the phoneskin folder?

The bars dont change for me...just the key pad. what am i doing wrong?

Did you install exactly what it stated in the first thread?

Here are some quick steps ...

- Download the attached file zPhone.zip

- Check in File Explorer/My Device. There should be a folder called PhoneSkins

- Then Download OrangePhoneSkin-WM5.zip or Vista Phonepad.zip and then use Resco or Zip or Total Commander to extract those files into the folder PhoneSkins.

- Soft reset and check the phone pad ..

I downloaded the Black Phone Dial Pad and then I just downloaded the New updates 2 Posts above and it looks even nicer than the one I originally had =]

Yea I did that. What happens is it all downloads to the phone as images. The are viewable and it prompts me to send them using outlook. So im guessing I can email people these pics. I not sure why it does that but I will keep working on it. Thanks.

I downloaded the vista also and its the same for me. the pad is there but my bars are grey not blue and I have now green arrow where the back space on the pad is. is it a carrier issue? I use sprint...

I have no clue what you guys are doing wrong .

I did what the first post stated and It worked for me the first time and I also did it again after I got a new phone with new rom .. So I dont think it could be the rom you guys are one ..

Maybe one of the mods/admin could look into your guys' problems ..
