Ultimate Launcher contacts
I tried searching the forums for this but...
Does anyone know how to have shortcuts to contacts with photo ID, just like the HTC Home plugin does? Not to ALL the contacts! Individual shortcuts where you click on their face and the phone calls them?

You can download the smartutilities cab at http://www.ultimatelaunch.de. It has a program called Make Call in there. After installing the cab, go into Ultimate Launcher configuration, create a new shortcut to the exe file and put the telephone number in the parameter box, then assign your photo/icon in ico format.

This would be cool.
Probably have to find a today plugin with photo contacts...I have not found something free yet. Maybe Face Contact or Contact-ing. I use spb phone suite to replicate the htc home mail/call/text indicators and you can set it up to display photo contacts...actually thats probably a decent way to do what your describing?
