Weather Panel GPS setting - what's it good for?
I've recently started using Weather Panel because I can't make the Weather tab of HTC Home get weather for my town (there's only one city in my state in the default list) even using the release version of HHC. Anyway, I'm finding that I quite like WP overall. There's a setting for the GPS port, which has me wondering what it's good for. I've tried searching but haven't found anything.

It doesn't do anything. WP has been abandoned by it's creator and this was a feature that never got developed.
