Ultimatelaunch alternatives?

I've been using Ultimatelaunch for the last few days and I love it. It's silky smooth on my titan and does almost everything I want. I want to buy it (it's worth the $15), but I have one BIG problem with it. It can't display the calendar plugin. That is pretty much a deal breaker because I use that plug in a lot.

Are there similar programs out there that are fast, smooth, and easily customizable? I like UL because it's easy to add/remove shortcuts and you can mix today plugins and icons on each tab.

I've seen a few cube copies, but many are slow and choppy or hard to customize. There are just too many to try all of them.

I'm using TodayAgenda on a tab on Ultimate Launch. I set it up so it covers the whole screen. Its a free program might want to check it out.

Re: Ultimatelaunch alternatives?

cLaunch will do the basic icons on the homescreen type thing, but no rotation when going from page to page of icons. It will also NOT load today plugins, so it really doesn't help you and I don't even know why I am posting this...

Re: Ultimatelaunch alternatives?

I've been using calendar+ already - it works pretty good, but it takes several seconds to refresh. So when I swipe to its tab, I have to wait a while for the appointments to show up. I'm going to try todayagenda too see if it works better.

Re: Ultimatelaunch alternatives?

Choose Activate plugin on startup from the Today-Plugin Tab in UL settings. This will activate the plugin even when it is not on the active tab preventing it from having to load when you switch to it.

Eerhard, you're smart, I don't care what they say about you. I tried UL, but didn't like how it worked with HTC Home. I'm gonna give it another go soon, and I'll keep this tip in mind when I do.

After trying a TON of them I've settled on SPB Mobile Shell 2 with SPB Weather...
