My today screen is only set to show up when the Mogul wakes up. Settings/mobile shell/Nowscreen(botttom left)/check show today screen/configure.

It was already checked to show when device wakes up. I have version 2.0

Check XDA's site for a proggy called spbwatcher... it's really cool and automatically sets the today screen, sorry don't have the link, but i use it and it sounds exactly like what you want.

Spb mobile shell help
 

I love Spb mobile shell. my only problem is i keep going to the today screen every time i hang up after a call. i wanted to know if there was a way to disable the today screen with this program so i never have to go to it (i never use it anyway). If i cant disable it does anyone know of any other programs like spb mobile shell without the today screen?

There is a program out there called SPBWatcher, on XDA develpers website...its a partial solution to your problem....Some is not right though I see the now screen after I make a call?......http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=377353&page=2

The xda program is cool but the install instructions were a mess. I just posted how to recover from a bad install and how to safely install it with a safety net.

I will try to post a better .cab later but this will get the install done safely for now. This is a great little tool for those of us who love Spb Mobile Shell!

Still sucks worse than a hookr on a fri night for me.

apparently in the spbsoftware forums, there's a multitude of ppl with this problem.

My seidio extended battery goes down about 10% an hour, 8% with no use, no bluetooth, no screen on, no autoupdating anything.
