That is OK, I know the one you mean (the only one made to date), and it is OK, but all I really want to do is change the background, and I can't get it to work for me, following instructions to the letter!!!

Thanks anyway!!

Here are a couple 240x240 screen shots.

OK.....just saw the images (sorry), and I do like that, but what I am trying to do is make the black background a pic. I saved the correct size .bmp in the .dat file, but no-go!!

Hey 1969....I poked through XDA but couldn't find that post (it's a mess over there). Let me know if you want me to zip up the .dat files that'll change your Now Screens to what's in my post.

late,
Coz

I tried to change the background pic a few weeks ago too...and yeah, I couldn't get it to take. I'm not sure what I did wrong. But if both of us failed...then I don't feel as bad.

Coz

Considering we did both fail, and the ONLY skin made for 240x240 (at least all I could find in both XDA, and SPB forums) has the black background (default), I tend to think it can't be done on our devices!! Oh well, it looks like us Treo users get gyped once again LOL!!!!!

Thanks for trying, as you said, I don't feel as bad now either!!!!

I noticed the same thing so I went back to the 2.0 version and it still did not show the recent call. I happen to be running the alltell version on my touch right now. How about you? I wonder if that is the reason.

too bad SPB doesn't just have a dialer/contact list plugin. Thats my favorite part of Mobile Shell

If you go to Start > Settings > Today > Items > Dial Tab it will show on your today screen.

Correct. It is not a stand alone application/plugin. If you are looking for something like that search for the Treo Speed Dial plugin.
