Ok I started using this a couple of days ago, after trying Netfront and getting sick of the out of memory errors...

But now with this opera Mobile, is there a way to stop it from double spacing everytime I type something into a website??? Also is there a way to force the program to load the full versions of websites instead of the mobile versions, automatically...

thanx for the release, im just not a fan of opera mobile. opera mini is sweet, but opera mobile just seems kinda......blah. only way i can describe LOL.

i got the opera mobile an it is working great except, i cannot connect to the internet through opera if i try to use the wifi on my phone. i have the att tilt. can anyone help?

any site with flash 7 should work with the current Flash Lite 2.1... Flash 8 and above require the upcoming Flash lite 3. We're all waiting for it.

Does anyone have any Idea where the favorites are saved, when I add a bookmark I went back to look for it in program files, windows rom, etc. No luck couldn't find it. I would like to dump all my favorites in the folder but I can't find them anywhere.

nice program, definitely better than 8.65. But with no choice but to install to RAM and no way of importing PIE favourites, I'll wait for the next version.

I asked the same question few post back and got no answer. I am having the same problem. Hoping one of these great PCCGeeks would have an answer for me, but none yet. Still hoping however or waiting for 9.5 to be released. Whatever comes first.

I'm trying to install the opera mobile from the first post on to my Cingular 8525 with WM6. When I install the cab on my phone and try to install it, it says it's unsuccessful. Any pointers to help me out?

I get the same double-spacing issue... plus the on-screen kb pops up and when I try to close it, it just pops right back up... kinda buggy there.. on my vogue...

I can't type letter, wtf!? If I hit a letter, for example in the address bar, a number appears... it like I have numlock turned on or something.

Weird. maybe a soft reset and using a dif input option might help.

ayinde6, to answer your question. You have "right click" on the screen and switch to landscape mode. Once you do that you can click on the bottom right hand side of the screen and you'll see Icons come up on the bottom (but they should automatically come up) that include favorites and home buttons.

Anyone have an idea as to what you need to put in the FtouchFlo config file to disable gesturing when in opera 9.5? I've tried "Exclude: Opera9"

I have a java issue that i have tried both the opera 8.65 and now 9.405

I have an alltel 6800 new rom installed and all updated.
I have my company website www.bringingfuntoyou.com that has a java app on the left side under the menu tool bar

works fine on computers, but on my ppc both operas and ie will keep showing
java not installed or enabled...

Any ideas why???

Same problem here. Had it with an earlier version of opera 9 as well. Makes me hate the browser unless I'm using a stylus. If this was fixed, along with a way to import bookmarks from IE, it'd be a solid browser.

The download is on the first post of this thread. Click the one that ends in QVGA Proper (NOT the WM5 one).

This is not a beta. It's a LEAKED build of Opera 9. You probably need to uninstall it and reinstall or do something to get it working again.

So where's the version for wm6 I downloaded to my Wing it kinda works ok. But I'm sure there's a better version than the one i have wich is Opera_9.5_Build_405_Fixed_Uninstall... and they say it's only for wm5 hmmmm.

So no one knows anything about this issue? Sucks, because I'm liking the way pages are displayed in this browser a lot the more I use it, but this keyboard crap makes it super frustrating to use. Sometimes the keyboard won't go away no matter how much I tap the keyboard icon, and even if I exit opera, the keyboard stays on the screen. So I'm sitting at my today screen with a keyboard blocking the lower half. Firing up opera again fixes it. But damn, it seems a little buggy.

I've just tried it, make sure you get the right version for your phone I just stupidly realized I was QVGA (look up the wiki for it if you don't know the difference it's ridiculously obvious when you see it)

Anyway I had the 9.33 beta and loved and and I would say this is a definite step up. I had a problem with my favorites before, the list would be all buggy, no such problem with this beta.
It has two awesome new hold click options Text Selection and Limit Paragraph. Text selection basically lets you choose to select text or not on the fly (turning panning off) and Limit Paragraph which I think makes this download worth it on its own. It automatically resizes the paragraphs in websites to be fully visible in one glance (as opposed to having to scroll back and forth as on the 9.33 version).

If you love opera mobile like I do (I want to have it's babies) then I highly suggest getting this cab file.

great browser for my ipaq 214.fast,rendering pages very well.pity i cant view flash. i havent tried opera 8.65.how is it compared to 9.5?

opera 8.65 has more of an IE mobile feel for me, obviously better but the same style. It doesn't automatically zoom out to show a full page (which is the crucial feature for me), but I would say more than anything that it is extremely stable, much more than the current leaked release of 9.5.

With PCMKeyboard, Opera doesn't play nice. Keeps popping up annoyingly, and NONE of the word-matching technology works. It's pretty unforgiving.

well i gotta say... i have tried all the opera builds released till today but this one is hands down the best build on my opinion!!! way faster than the diamond builds, no keyboard bug, flash works nicely, lite, and smooth. I reccomend this verion to anyone who has given up on Opera


now for the question (if anyone still uses this or knows the answer from when they did) is there a way to fix the glitch in landscape mode? its perfect in portrait but when i use my landscape for my kb, the zoom animations dont work, it just disorts and glitches the screen and the page is zoomed with no animations, kinda annoying but not annoying enough for me to get rid of this version. of anyone has any suggestions or a way to fix this, please let me know

EDIT: NEVERMIND, I FIXED IT, JUST TAP AND HOLD TO CHOOSE THE LANDSCAPE OPTION INSTEAD OF JUST OPENING THE KEYBOARD FIXES THE BUG. WOOHOO!! IM EVEN MORE IN LOVE NOW :headbang:
