Well either you use the stock lock app and hit power then unlock or you use s2u2 and hit power then slide the slider. It's no harder to use and looks nicer. I also like the full screen caller ID and how it shows the big clock, weather, email count, text count, etc.

I don't want my phone to be an iphone really but the sliding lock is a nice app. I like WM because you can usually find an app to do the things you like. I prefer my WM phone due to the added functionality but that doesn't mean I don't like anything from the iphone interface.

I feel sorry for all the people that lead such busy lives that an extra 3-5 second step gets in the way of their productivity.

I like it because I get a big clock, weather, SMS/Email/VMail counts, and a picture of my daughter up on the screen, which frees me to remove much of the clutter from the today screen so I can have a decent picture there too.

Thanks everyone for the information. I think I'll skip this app. for right now. I have pictures of my family on my phone so I can just view them as I want. I don't want to add another step to get to the Today screen.

without s2u2 i get a bunch of missed calls cuz the phone never wakes up froma voice call or text messages ..
with s2u2, it does its job and wakes the phone up right away. no more missed calls and missed text messages :)

Good point, I didn't think about that.

i dont no about you but when i had s2u2 my phone had a huge delay when people tried to call me. i once timed it and it took about 30seconds before my phone would start to ring. so i got rid of the app ASAP..

30 seconds? I would think that before it made it to 30 seconds it would have kicked over to voicemail and your phone wouldn't have rung at all?

I haven't missed any more calls than usual with S2U2 installed, though it is possible it adds a slight delay...but it appears it is a negligible one, at least for me.

I am not seeing any delays at all with the phone.

@Drakeford, It does provide a functioning clock and event reminder(text, voicemail, weather, etc) plus its fully customizable, you can change the backround the clock, the slider ,the slidebar to your own personal preference. Search this forum for S2U2 and also xda-developers.com you will find some good info

As ppl have stated, it not needed but OMG, is it a nice program to have!!!!! :ro: I got tired of being on the phone and my cheek opening up applications that I don't want open.

Re: S2U2-what is the purpose

da.bell, can S2U2 prevent my cheeks from opening other apps. That happens to me each time I use the phone. If that's the case I'm sold. Please confirm.
