I have a question.

What units is Data in?

I was just trying to figure this out. Mine says 387,577. If this is pure bytes then I've only sent 387kB, which seems small, if it is in kB, then I've sent roughly 387MB of date, which in 9 days seems a little excessive.

Edit: I just chatted with sprint and they said it is in kBytes so it looks like I need to get a life and get off my phone. :)

If it is kilobytes, then yes, 387MB, but if kilobits then only 47MB, so go ahead and stay on your phone. It's only a bit over 5MB per day.

Every thing in the digital world is measured in bytes except speeds, which are generally bits. Whoever screwed this up should be shot but whatever, its what we get. So yes it is KB (B=Byte, b=bit). 387MB/9Days = 43MB per day, or almost 2 MB per hour. Holy S*** I have no life, where has it gone (as if I ever had one, once a geek always a geek :))

Pretty cool but doesn't seem to work with a family plan.

it works however it only shows your information, not the overall plan info. this would be a nice feature if someone wants to implement it

I logged in once, it went to download minutes, they downloaded, but they were wrong. Since then I've uninstalled / re-installed, and I've yet to log back in and successfully download the information...

I keep getting the same thing as remlle. No rhyme or reason.

It's now 464,642. This is just sad, what do you think Sprint will do if I hit a Gig of transfer? That has to be more abuse than any MMS spam.

I plan on releasing a new release soon, but I need data from people with Sprint SERO plans for which the plugin doesn't work for them yet. If you could send me a copy of the html for your usage page, that would be great.

the next release will have fixed auto-update, stand-alone mode and added FFP support.

Will this work on another plan (Alltel/Verizon) or Sprint only? I noticed that you asked for the html for the usage page of SERO users so I am sure you have geared this application in the Sprint specific direction.

I was trying to help you out by making it sound like just 5 MB a day, but you had to go and prove yourself a geek!

I get migrated on the 18th, so I'm hoping to get this working after that. Haven't tried yet since I know I'd probably have to redo it once I migrate.

I cannot get this to work on my mogul. I have a unlimited incoming plan with 500 minutes, someone it works within the software but the today screen still has the old numbers, it would be great if you can fix this bug. Thank for your hard work.

Hey No2, thanks for the app. I'm having some trouble getting this to work on my Touch. I'm on a SERO plan (which is basically a glamorized F&F plan), and I noticed that you're looking for some info to tweak your app. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. :)

ok im on sero also if you need help.i finally managed to get it to recognized my account but it doesn't keep the credentials after i go back to the today screen everything is blank after saving the username etc

Thanks for this app. It wouldn't log in to check my minutes, so I logged into Sprintpcs website. Turns out they are updating their security and requiring a PIN to log into an account. Once you set up a PIN through the website, you can use that PIN to allow this program to work. Under "settings", type your UN, PW, and select the "Ensemble" thing. Instead of entering your phone number here, enter your PIN. It should connect and work.

Like others on this thread, I can login fine, get correct usage data on the data page, but going back to the today screen get the default info. I've tried refreshing in the today screen and no joy (tapping on the globe). Soft resets do nothing either. Any suggestions anyone? I'm on a SERO plan.

Edit: FYI I have unchecked M2M (its unlimited anyway)to clear up some space on the today screen (gear was sorta cutoff and hard to click on) and it still appears with all the default info.

This no worky for me!!!

Its not saving the "Use New System" or my phone number and even though I have unchecked M2M and NW they are both still showing up on the today screen... Oh and the date says 1/1/01 12:00:00 AM

Any ideas?

Apparantly I need to put the crack pipe down... I some how managed to not save my phone number and thats what the problem was.. Its all working now...

I'm doing the same thing, except implicitly calling a different shortcut inside the .lnk file (yes, you can do that).

No2chem, this is a really useful app, but it does place a lot of tiny info on the today screen. I like my today screen to be finger-friendly, and this app is just not. However, its rediculously useful as an app that I can call from my shortcuts list.
You should seriously consider making this a stand-alone app with a today screen option. Some people don't want it on the today screen.

I see from reading this thread that I'm not the only one who prefers this!

I had to (in this order) enter my data in the settings page (and hit save password), then go to the data page ang hit refresh and wait for it to refresh and list the data, then go to the Today tab and hit refresh AGAIN, then change what I want in the boxes, then hit save settings. then "X" out

I followed your exact order, sonicboom, and still no update on the today screen. Really strange. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix?

Thanks for the program. I am excited to use it.

Sonicboom is right, but I had to refresh the Data page 3 or 4 times to get it to display my data. Then on the "Today" tab, I first had to refresh, then select the "data name" from the drop-down menu - "anytime minutes", Moble to moble, text messaging etc. - and hit save settings. I then went to the today screen and forced a refresh (the globe thing) and it worked. Pretty sweet!

i know that i haven't been working on this app lately, and that many people have been requesting updates... Im being switched to the new billing system right now, so thats whats really preventing updates.... Don't worry, i haven't forgot about it...

check, 1,034,812. In 20 days thats 51,740.6 kB per day. Or almost 52 MB per day, or more than 1 MB per hour even when sleeping. Just sad, really it is. :headbang:

shakedown ... after you've done those step go back to your today screen and then hit the little earth button
if that doesn't work uninstall it, do a soft-reset, reinstall it, do a soft-reset, then go to your today scrren settinf page and check it. then do the steps I mentioned above.

i started the process online and 2 weeks went by and i couldnt login online so called cust serv they transfered me to tech support and they did everything over the phone

I wonder if you were just stuck. Last I heard it was a 4 day minimum. These prevents a lot of sales/upgrades with customers not being able to buy a phone for 4 days, this would be a handy tool in the sales world if it can really be done.

that's how I was migrated.....someone gave me the direct # to migrations, maybe here @ ppcgeeks, called & they migrated immediately.....but in the process, hosed my account.....in the end they made it up to me :D

Great app, and its really helpful. But I have som suggestions.

Theres too much clutter. Pretty much everyone has unlimited m2m/NW. So thats unnecessary really. And those on sero will have unlimited Txt. (I can't get the app to turn those options off; I hit save and they still show up on the Today screen)

What I would like is just a number stating my minutes used and/or minutes remaining. I already know how many minutes I have in my plan.

This would make the today screen a lot cleaner.
