further custonmization of HTC home?

i was wondering if i can customize HTC home even more then the HTC Home Customizer allows. specifically i want to make the SMS and missed call buttons larger and lose the email icon as i don't use it. also i would like the to make the date bigger and change the color to make it easier to read.

would this require reg tweaks or another prog?

or is it not possible (i have found that nothing is impossible with you guys though)
