Help! Need to *STOP* FTouchflo?
Okay, so i shot myself in the foot! I went to copy an ftouchflo link to my startup folder and accidently pasted a new copy of it there! So now it runs from startup folder and i can't erase it because its running. I normally wouldn't not care but it doesn't run right without its config file which if i put there, it open it up in word on startup. Help! How can I fix this without hard reset?
:-? Thanks B |
Never mind, i got it!, I ran the uninstall program and it disabled it, then i erased it before reboot! Yay...The things that happen when I think!
:sign3: |
go to windows/startup and remove the ftouchflo link.

Also, for future programs you can use PPC task manager. Its great, and I have it mapped to my record key lol

KidGixxer: As you will read in my first message, there was NOT a link in the startup folder. There was only the executable which could not be deleted due to the fact that it was a running task.
Saumaun: I have the HTC Task Manager and it does not show up there, so it does show up in PPC task manager? I know i will definitely NOT make this mistake again! What a pain! |
Wow I had this problem too but I ended up doing a hard reset for other reasons and I got rid of it. I put it on my touch to make it more sensitive without having to do a registry edit but it intefered with some things. I couldn't realign my screen with ftouchflo on my phone. Worked fine on my mogul tho

A safemode program can also be useful in times like these. Couple of options:
Monocube's SafeMode http://www.monocube.com/content/view/20/36/ SPB Pocket Plus http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/?en |
