yea I think they may be having problems with something on the install of the new servers. its been awhile, and the other day I was getting the apache page from a fresh install....but now its blank.

malatesta, I set limits on upload to save space, and so ppl don't go crazy uploadin. ;) give me a bit and I will raise ur limit.

Really?? I'm confused. What does the website have to do with the application functioning corrrectly? The whole purpose behind peer 2 peer technology is that no one computer serves as a central server. The network of users determines if there are any files to download.

i'm just relaying what people have told me. it kinda makes since in a way if the program connects to a server run by pocketg2 then out to the other peers. that is one scenario where upgrading servers may cause issues

who knows

So I got my hands on the alpha version, and, it sucks. Its very unstable, so you gotta restart the application a few times. I havent been able to even find 1 file in my searches. I hope the beta version works better than this. We'll see. I'm still searching for it.

Upon furthor review, I uninstalled, then reinstalled. The program now works. I've downloaded 2 files successfully although both files couldnt play. The first file required a license and the other was a .mov file. I still want the beta which is what Malatesta has. I'm trying to learn how to host a file with Streamload right now.

try uploading to 4shared or rapidshare, these are great file hosting services.

ok I don't know if anyone else is having problems with this program but I am ... I have tried like 3 times now and used different versions, as well as storing on the storage card or the internal memory, still the same scenario ... it will start up, connect, and search ... when I choose to download something, it crashes ... gives me an error saying that pocketg2pro had an internal error, then it closes out ... after trying to go back in I just get the same error without even connecting etc ... any ideas?

itsastckup 08-19-2006 12:51 PM

that was the same problem i was having so i uninstalled then reinstalled to the same storage card area.

so i was wondering how many versions you have?
