But I see Version 2 costs $20 now.

The extended version does. They are free downloads and the pro version download works but will have a registration popup till registered. The standard version is still free! Wow! got it! Anybody installed this over a cooked in touchpal 1? I'm going to try it!

Well got the results. Figured it was a bad idea but tried it anyway. A reflash without touchpal V1 as an OEM or someone creating a new V2 OEM or using OEMizer. Know what I'll be doing while I drink my coffee.....

I'll stick with v1, or maybe update to the standard v2, though it looks the exact same as what i have. I was pumped for this software, had been looking forward to it all month, but $20 for a keyboard is too much, they missed the mark. $5 would have been great, and I probably could have stretched to $10, but 20? be reasonable, it's a keyboard.

MrOuija36 12-29-2007 12:46 PM

YES!.. bout to purchase it.. i support anyone who made texting on my touch easy as all hell... i just hope my dictionary ports over..

Pibe38 12-29-2007 02:09 PM

I'm excites to test it too, but it needs to be a darn good keyboard for me to spend $20 on it, I have to agree, it's a very steep price for it.

But if it fixes ALL my typing issues on the Touch, then it may be worth it.

MrOuija36 12-29-2007 03:20 PM

just bought it... new nice new features making typing even easier than v1... its only a dub!
