i put it in there, but nothing changed. My friend said that it might be the spacer. When i try to open that it flashes but goes back to file explorer. any ideas?

i'm not trying to be a smartass but your file is dciNoBar.exe, right? You kept referring to "._dciNoBar". If you run dciNoBar.exe, you may see a quick flicker, but when you close explorer & go back to today, the bottom bar should be gone. you dont have to reset.

i have the black bar in the middle of the screen...for some reason i cant get it to the bottom....spacer2 is installing. Furthermore , how can i get an all black background?

did you set the amount of pixels to "space" in the today options for the spacer2 plugin?

Doesn't work on the Treo 700wx. I'm guessing it's because of Palm's "special" tweaks to WM (I'm begining to like these "tweaks" less and less). Same reson we can't change our calc or dialer skins. With the tweak to remove the bottom bar all that happens is the bar is replaced by the answer or ignore bar that you get when you receive a call.

ive installed everything and its looking good, except i cant get the little icons on the bottom to dissapear, and the lg buttons dont cover them up. can someone help?

Anyone figured out how to custom link the buttons to apps of our choosing?

I have a different problem...I cannot change the spacer options.

It works the first time I try, but after a reset my device never allows the options to be changed...it's as though the file is corrupted. I tried to uninstall and reinstall spacer and it worked again (the first time) but subsequently it is as if I don't even have the spacer installed and I cannot change the options. :(

the program is not being "installed" when you run it.....you have to copy it to your /windows/startup folder, so it will run on bootup/reset.
