I'm with u...i have two animated files sitting in the folder...and ill i get is a black screen

What worked for me was going into my Program folder--->SU2U--->gfx and rename the file "wallpaper" to something else in case you want to use it later, then copy your image into the same folder and rename it to "wallpaper"
Then do a soft reset and it should work.

here ya go... something like this work for ya..??

In the S2U2 settings you can fluctuate the speed of the .gif file, i put mine on 10 and the blue flame wallpaper really does come out pretty sick... im using miss november from playboy as a lil picture scrolling background now, like it much better than the flames lol...

Everyone who sets animated gifs as wallpaper needs to go download A_Cs S2V. Its an image viewer that lets you set S2U2 wallpaper directly. Its just easier than messing with wallpaper.jpg etc. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358187

Hey I was wondering if anyone could make a animation of the scene were sephiroth from final fantasy 7 advent children walks through fire into a gif I could use for my s2u screen. I don't know how to do it and I;m sure I don't have the right software to make it happen either.

Thats exactly the way I have been doing it. Its much easier that way. just put the gif image in your my pictures folder, use S2V to open it and then set it as wallpaper for S2U2. Its great
