I have no clue what you guys have a problem with. It seems to be working perfectly fine for me. I guess you must be talking about the Treo. I'm using a Wizard and this thing is fantastic.
Bad Sector... you rock. Thanks soo much for this. I will definitely donate for this. Infact, you should make this Commercial software. It's really worth it. A few things I would like to see added to it if possible, 1) Option to divert ALL audio to the headset. (this would be useful for music and Skype) 2) Option to have the ringer sound on both, the headset and the phone itself. 3) A tray icon so that it would be easier to switch between all the options. I think this is streching it to the max and after this I don't think anybody will have any other additional requests. Oh and lastly, please continue to develp this such that it won't need .NET. I love how incredibly small this is. Thanks again.... you've mae a lot of people happy. Regards Lee |

Does 'Open Audio' work only for the 'Play Media' command or in any environment? EDIT: It works for skype as well. This is truly the best app around. Should be nominated for 2007's PPC awards. EDIT 2: The 'Audio' file does exactly what is mentioned above... it redirects all the audio to the headset. Problem is after I redirect the audio and then hit the button on the BT headset again to make another call or call out another function, it gets rediverted back to the phone. Sure would be nice to have an 'Audio Off' file which could return the audio to the device only when told to. |

Leep: All you have to do it hit your BT headset button and say "cancel" and it will reroute the audio back to the phone...
Hope that helps.. I will be working on an updated version very soon.. I wrote the program before so that you could tray the program, but it added another 600k to the program!! And you really need to run this on main memory so I didn't think it worth the file size.. but I have found some ways now to be able to install on storage card.. So i will release the next version with tray, and without.. and we can try that for a bit. Glad your enjoying the program.

Thanks for the reply Bad Sector... I really love your program.
I'm listing some useful features that I think will make a big difference 1) Tray Icon (which you already are working on) 2) Command Line functions / Shortcuts to Enable or Disable MS Voice Command Announcements and Ringer to the headset. This would help in switching back and forth without having to exit the program. Also, the shortcuts can be placed in the Programs menu and can simply be accessed using VC 1.6 3) When the 'Open Audio' program is used, it redirects all the audio to the headset... problem is that the audio returns back to the phone the second you touch the headset button again. It would be nice if you could find a way to have the audio redirected to the headset until the user decides to switch it off rather than it get redirected back to the phone automatically. 4) And ofcourse shortcuts / command line functions for the above as well so that it can be accessed via MS VC1.6 and can also be mapped to buttons. I think all these features above will make this the most fantastic BT program out there. Thanks again for alll your great work. |

Bad Sector -
Has your program been tested on the AKU 2.2 ROM? The reason I ask is that it worked flawlessly on the 2.0 ROM, but since I upgraded, now everything works except the CID during a phone call. All other announcements work, though. Very strange. |

Signal34,
I wrote this before the AKU 2.2, so apparently there is a new problem there? I'm not too sure why that would happen off hand. Seems to me everything should still work the same way... I'm guessing the 2.2 rom is handling the incoming call during a phone call differently. I will have to install this 2.2 and then probably change the program. I'm pretty sure that I can write 1 program to tell which version and use the appropriate method. Thanks for the info. |
