Update for the Treo Users:
So far we do have the Audio Gateway opening and closing correctly. We will be working on getting ALL sound from the PPC to transfer to the BT headset and NOT only the Phone conversations. This is coming along very well though. Thanks for all the help Treo, big d5, and Wideawake!

Wow, can you explain what you are doing to get the audio to go through? The dev guy at JETware contacted Palm and they told him this...
"The Bluetooth hardware in the Treo 700w is wired directly into the cellular radio hardware such that audio from the Bluetooth hands-free device microphone goes directly to the cellular radio, and only the cellular radio can provide audio to the Bluetooth hands-free device speaker. This does not allow the Bluetooth audio connection to be established prior to a phone call to take audio input from the Bluetooth microphone for a voice-dial application on the phone to interpret." The btaudiotoggle.exe opens and closes the AG also, but you just hear static as if it's unconnected. |

Sorry, bad news so far for the Treo users. I thought we was on a roll, but got snagged. So i have to go about it in different method. Might take me a bit longer, but I'll keep trying.
As for now, all the other PPC's should have no problem running CallerIDv1.05. |

Hi Badsector,
I am using a HP6955. with you mod can I use the bluetooth headset to lookup contacts or to dial. Or is this only for listening to incoming announcements. Fibrolan |

My program works pretty much in series with MS Voice Command. If you have a different program that currently announces Caller Notifications over your PPC speaker, then this program will transfer that to your BT headset instead.
This program can transfer any sound from your PPC speaker to your BT headset. It can also open a audio channel to your BT headset so as to listen to music in your headset instead of the PPC speaker. It does not offer any lookup contacts or dial. I'm don't know much about the HP6955, but if you want to try and use MSVC there is a 15 day trial of their older version on their web site. My program just fills a gap in their program. |
