Program does work on 3.5

It seems that there are GAC files that are missing from the 3.3 to 3.5 version. If you install those, my program should work fine for the new AKU. This is what alloptions figured out after me and him talked about it : "I confirmed that the GAC files for corrupt and since the ROM creator created a beta sp for it. Walla it works again perfectly"

So I'm still not sure about all the different version of AKU out or what files are missing/corupt in each version.

I thought that some people were able to get it working on the 700... but I'm not positive. If the 700 is not using the same bluetooth stack, or has the hardware arranged differently than the 6700's, it probably will not work.

I don't have a 700 so it is hard for me to figure out how i can adapt the program to work on it. If there is anything out for the 700 that you know that opens that audio gateway, let me know, and I'll see if there is a way I can put it in my program to make it work for your phones.

BadSector,

I'm getting an error when starting IDTransfer:

"File or assembly name 'Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Status, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35' or one of its dependencies was not found."

Does this make any sense to you (or anyone else)?

I installed .NET and MSVC from their respective packages, not from an OEM.

Thanks.

ALL

To everyone who is having a problem getting my program running:

If you are using the new 3.5 AKU and you can no longer get my IDTransfer to work, you will need to ask the maker of your mod about the GAC files that are missing or corrupt. I don't know what GAC files are, but another user told me that he reinstalled these files or used a different 3.5 AKU and my program works same as it did before now.

Hope this helps.

Bad Sector,

Is there anyway we could get the startup screen which requests Hide or Exit to just no show? For example IDtransfer /quiet or something?

Having this show up sometimes interfers with skins.

Thanks,

Thank you very much Bad Sector for this great piece of software!

I do have one question though. When I receive a call on my xv6700 I hear a ringing chime over the bluetooth headset as well as the Voice Command caller id. The ringing is not in sync with the caller id so I typically have to wait several seconds until they both don't play at the same time to correctly identify what the caller id is saying.

Do you (or anyone) know of a way to disable that ringing chime over the bluetooth headset? The phones ring settings are set to vibrate so it seems that the ringing chime that I hear is only over the headset. The headset that I am using is a PLT 510.

Thanks in Advance!

Chuck

EDIT: I installed the latest version of BT Transfer and it seems that I can not replicate this problem anymore. Thanks again!
