Does a wep cracker exist for mobile?
 

I would love to find one for my 6700. I would even take one for xp But all I can find is linux. Anyone???????????

there is no just "wep cracker", not even on pc. trust me i hack computers and its alot more complicated than that.u have to capture more than 600,000 packets and then decrypt them, it must be a very highly trafficed network also, otherwise getting that many packets would take weeks.

It is true though. To really successfully capture enough data you almost need one or two devices to generate the network traffic (packets) and then another to capture the packets to crack the WEP key.

There was a version for WM2003 a while back someone posted in IRC, but they said it didn't work on WM5/6.

You'll need up to a million iv's, but if your card supports packet injection then you can get those in about 15 minutes with arp requests. And if we can get aircrack to run, the -x (ptw mode) only needs about 100k packets and can crack in 2min or less if you're quick. This is wep only btw. I know you didn't ask, but forget about wpa.

I don't know what the linux scene for these devices is like, but if you can get a version to run that has command prompt and supports normal programs you can do it. Then the only factor is if you can inject packets. If you can't you'll probably need a device that can handy. (so it defeats the purpose.)

...you only need about 10,000 IVs but it takes about 1-2,000,000,000 to get them arp injection just causes the ones you need to be created faster but even if you did get a sniffer working you'd not be able to inject making it take weeks to crack the password(gather enough packets)

Try Cain and Abel for PPC or maybe AirSniffer?

To all the nay sayers ............using linux I can crack a wep in under 4 minutes. generaly under 2.
