Skyfire not working?

Is anyone else have issues with Skyfire connecting. I'm using v1.5.

Huggybear 11-04-2010 01:32 PM

Re: Skyfire not working?

yeah....it tells me can't connect due to excessive demand. error 4.3.2.1_3001

This is twice as annoying as normal. First because it doesn't work...and second they seem to be tooting their own horns at how busy the traffic is - adding insult to injury that others can connect and I can't!

Do I sound bitter?

Re: Skyfire not working?

No, not at all *wink*

I do agree though, it is definitely annoying.

skyfire users

has anyone tried using skyfire today or yesterday and rec'vd a message saying, "sorry, but due to strong demand we can not provide svc at this time"???? has anybody heard anything on why? TIA

Re: Skyfire not working?

they released an iphone app yesterday and the demand is crashing the internets.

They had to remove it from the app store since it was so popular and crashing the app store. lol.

Skyfire Error

I can not get skyfire to work on my Sprint HTC touch. It worked a couple days ago and now the past 2 days I am getting the below error. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, even doing a hard reset and I still get this error. Anyone have any ideas?

"Sorry: Due to strong demand we cannot provide service at this time. Please try again later. (4.3.2.1_3001)

The last time I saw an error message like that, skyfire had a data center down. But it only lasted a few hours.

Yes. Supposedly demand from a new iPhone app is crashing skyfire. How else are they gonna get flash?

^ nice lol! but yeah, skyfire yanked it after the iphone people crashed their servers.

Re: skyfire users

And no more updates for WinMo, even though it hasn't worked correctly in ages. I uninstalled, and I was with them for all the Alpha's and Beta's and they dumped us.

Correction, Skyfire released an iphone app that is crashing their servers due to demand.

We need to take this to Skyfire's neck. I just called the offices and got this site from it. www.getsatisfaction.com/skyfire maybe if we make enough noise that will ensure that we aren't forgotten about.

Re: Skyfire not working?

I just installed Uzard.
While I can get back into facebook and update it etc (in full version not mobile) I've noticed the videos are not wanting to work. Some finally play with their built in player but they seem to need to buffer often and some don't play all the way through.

Hmm... missing Skyfire. We were spoiled I guess.
