Lock screen app, can't find a good one
Right now I'm using pocketshield, but I don't have the money to buy it and think it's a bit too "big" for what I need anyway. What I'm requesting in this thread is if anyone knows of a VERY simple pocketshield-ish slide-vertically-to-unlock application, that will let me set a BG picture. What I'm aiming for is I turn on my SCH-i760's screen (winmo6.1) and see a picture, which I then slide up and I see my regular UI.
Anyone know of something like this? I've tried every unlock app known to man, and pocketshield comes close, but it's payware and just doesn't really blow me away. (also: yay first post!) |

Welcome!
Try Slide2UnlockPro here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/windows-mo...ost439909.html :D It's what I use and it's much lighter than S2U2 and it will do what you want and it's free. |
Re: Lock screen app, can't find a good one
Thanks for the prompt reply. I installed S2UP, and it was decent, and very fast, but there is one problem: it looks like an iPhone. My fault for now mentioning in my original post that I don't like the look of the iPhone or Android OS (or rather, don't like to 'copy' other OSes).
What I'm looking for, to put it in better words, it a picture that pops up when the screen is turned on, and then the picture itself is 'slidden' out of the way to view the desktop, or a keypad to enter a password. |

i've been using AutoLock (csdevctrl) it's simply a feature add on for the built in lock, works great.

I think what he is trying to say is that he wants to find a app which simulates th WP7 lockscreen.

search ppl search!!! lol
Jaxbot's Stand-Alone WP7 Lock Screen for the HD2 - xda-developers this is a little old, i hoped it had been updated since i found it. works great, only problem is that it doesn't lock automatically when the screen is turned off (maybe someone can figure out how to do that) |
Re: Lock screen app, can't find a good one
Ok, thanks a bunch guys. Firetiger is correct; what I'm trying to find is something like the WP7 Unlock screen. Thank you sprinttouch for your suggestion, but my device is QVGA and now WVGA :( (I wish). I have managed to find a solution, however :)
