The bombardments in another client will happen if you log on to OctroTalk and configure legacy account while you were already signed on from the other client. They way it works is that every MSN/AIM/ICQ buddy is mapped to a googletalk buddy, and OctroTalk automatically accepts these on to your buddy list. Since these requests also get to the *other client*, you get these messages. If you were to sign off and sign back in (on the other client), these messages should go away since they have already been accepted by OctroTalk.

None of the buddies on your list should receive any such messages.

Version 1.08 with Y! support

Version 1.08 for Pocket PC is out. And so is v 1.02 (unsigned) for Smartphone.

This version adds:
1) Y! support
2) UI to quickly find a user in your buddy list
3) Fix for status on OctroTalk not reflecting on MSN/Y!/AIM/ICQ
4) Other small issues.

Pocket PC version is available on "Over the Air" download.

The new versions can be downloaded from www.octro.com

Please make sure you are entering the Y! id only and not @yahoo.com. That is, for entering your credentials, if your yahoo id was foobar, you just need to enter foobar and NOT foobar@yahoo.com

Thank you, that was the problem....
