mygogo,

I have been using your software and have actually purchased and registered. A couple of items maybe you could shed some light on.

1. Can you please tell me how to set up a filter to block unknown callers, those callers that block their number. I have used the filter no number and tested by blocking the number from my other cell but the call still goes through.

2. The yellow phone icon never appears when a rule has been triggered. I only get the red a green icons.

I am using version 1.2 of this software. Should I uninstall then reinstall the software? Please help as I really like this program and need it to work properly.

Can you add numbers to the block list from the phone or do you have to enter a separate program to add numbers? When I get an unwanted call I just want to press a symbol or menu item to add the callers number to my black list.

Is this like all the other call blockers where your phone still rings/vibrates once or does it actually block the call?

Gotta say, I'm playing with this on a custom 6.1 Rom on my Mogul, working terifficly so far. Love the options and the features that are coming look promising.

Biggest benefit to me is the SMS filter, I just my SMS to get pages from work, but sometimes the system monitors flake out and send me BS pages for things that are not critical, but look like they are, so it got annoying getting those in the middle of the night, now Magicall knows what to look for in the page and not bother me if it contains a certain string. AWESOME! I wish my system monitors were so intelligent.

One question though and I may just be missing it, but how do I delete (not just disable) a rule that I no longer need?

Hold down your stylus or finger on the rule you want to delete until a menu pops up on the screen (2 or 3 seconds). One of the options in that menu should be "Delete". I love this program. I've been using it for 7 or 8 months.

Is there a way to block both phone call and SMS without creating 2 rule types?

Not to my knowledge. When you create a new rule, you have to select a "Rule Type". The options are: Phone-Inbound, Phone-Outbound, and SMS. You can only select one of these.

Completely blocks it out. No rings or any type of notification if you set it in the 'ruler' options.
