Is there a newsfeed reader where you can backup your channels?

I have spb insight but I gotta reenter all my feeds when I format

I tried newsbreak and it doesn't seem to have the option either.

In NewsBreak, use the "Export" option and it will export it to an .opml file, then after format, use the "Import" option to import your .opml file.

I've used NewsBreak for a year and have been completely happy with it compared to the other RSS readers on the market.

Good luck,

I backup my feeds all the time, combine them with other OPML files, etc. Newsbreak is well worth the money! Couldn't live without it.

I have pretty much tried most of the RSS readers for PPC including SPB Insight, Egress, PocketRSS, Hubdog, Viigo, pRSSreader, Newsbreak and I agree Newsbreak is best one. Egress, however, is the most functional. Unfortunately, it's not as stable.

I hope I'm not hijacking your thread Kouki, but my question is does anyone know of a way to synchronize my channels without exporting/importing OPML's. Egress has this feature for use with Google Reader or Newsgator, but I don't think the others do.

I'm also trying to have my podcasts synced with my PPC, kept their temporarily, but then archived on my PC. Is anyone aware of an automated way to do this? For example:

1. Podcast downloaded to PC
2. Synced automatically to PPC
3. Deleted after X amount of time on PPC or after next sync
4. Archived on PC

thanks

PocketRSS (well this one http://www.happyjackroad.net/index.asp) lets you put the rss database wherever you want - mine is on my storage card and has survived many a rom flash/hard reset. In fact, if you install pocketrss to your card, you don't even need to re-install it after a hard reset - just keep a link handy, fire it up, and re-register (free!) and away you go.

I use newsbreak installed on my minisd... it's moved from phone to phone with me.. and as long as you keep reinstalling to the minisd it'd remember the channels/content.
