PCAnywhere Mobile on WM6.5 or higher

Hello,

I rely on pcanywhere for work. I used to run it on WM6.1 with no problems at all. Unfortanately, the lastest version of PCAnywhere does not support WM6.5 or higher. From the sounds of it, Symantec does not seem interested in releasing a patch either. In fact, they don't seem to care at all!

I don't like the fixed window in Remote Desktop. To be honest i find Remote Desktop to be crappy and pretty much a joke. Not to mention the fact that our servers are out in Maryland and already have PCAnywhere installed on them. So i really need pcanywhere vs the alternatives.

At the moment my only option is to flash back to a 6.1 rom in order to monitor things from my phone. You may as well just shoot me.

It doens't appear to be a major bug in pcanywhere mobile. I mean it runs great after the initial install. Once you soft reset, however, it will never launch again though. It appears to be a certificate issue or some other issue that would probably be an easy fix.

Has anyone found a workaround? I have PCAnywhere 12.5 and installed the mobile version from the CD - so far it looks like that is the latest version. Has anyone got this working on WM6.5 or higher? OR has anyone heard of an updated version? Frustrating to say the least.

Thanks for any insight!
