Xda_uc

Hello all. I have been searching for a fairly easy to follow how to guide for XDA_UC. I have used Sashimi in the past. I understand how to install cabs now, XDA_UC sub folder, I just need to figure out how to get my email settings, activesync server settings to run automatically. Any help would be awesome.

Re: Xda_uc

I second this request with the addition of how to copy my program shortcuts into specific folders. For instance a file from the storage card folder "shortcuts" to the windows/programs/games folder

To make an email provisioning xml file that can be used in Sashimi and should work in XDA_UC, (but I never used XDA_UC tho)
I'd use "Personal OEMizer" to create it.
Found here - http://www.tiermann.net/index.php?op...=blog&Itemid=2 and aswell the ppcgeeks discusion here - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ferrerid=10115 this app can make an OEM package aswell as a "personal OEM" with all of your settings.
But for your purpose:
1. Run OEMizer
2. Put a check in the box where it says "POP3/IMAP4
3. click on "new" to create your email settings (you can create as much as you need)
4. When you click on "new" hi-light the newly created account to start creating.
5. When all done just hit "Create OEM" on the top left.
6. After the creation process you can now close the app.
7. The app should have created an OEM folder-open that you'll see the OEM package that you created, and inside you should see a file named "mxip_myProv_100.provxml" that is your email settings file.

Grant it that this is really used in cooking into a ROM, but like I said it can be used in Sashimi and etc..

You can rename if needed and probably you will need to change the
extension from ".proxml" to "just ".xml"

I hope that made sense for you. good luck!
