Sync with Vista, still need outlook?

I noticed windows vista has the new windows calander the the new windows mail. (Just got a new Sony Vaio laptop.. congrats to me!)

Before I go setting up windows mail and/or finding a cracked 2007 outlook... Can I sync my PDA Phone (Sprint Mogul) with the address book in Windows Mail and with Windows Calander???

Anyone tried it or have info?? THANKS!

So I have been searching around the net and it appears that WM6 does not sync with the new Windows Calendar and Windows Contacts found on Windows Vista.

That's a shame, it appears they were trying to help out those who only use outlook for Calendar and Contacts and Tasks (which is all I use it for). So I am thinking they are hard at work on getting these new great Windows add-ons to sync with windows mobile, at least I hope so.

I run MS Office Home and Student because I am in law school and cant live without OneNote and the Home and Student no longer comes with outlook, so I am going to wait it out a couple weeks to see whats happening before I shell out 80 bux for outlook 2007 or risk catching a virus by installing a cracked outlook torrent.

Anyone else finding any info on this?

I was running outlook, and was nice synching it, but I got tired of outlook never shutting down and eating up mem in the background. From what I hear, mail2web is really good.
