Replacement for Total Commander?

I'm looking for a replacement for Total Commander, which I've been using for years. Lately it's become problematic since it doesn't work the same on my new Touch Pro 2 (running the stock Sprint ROM).

Here's what I'm looking for (all of which were features of Total Commander on my older devices):

Free
Supports drag-and-drop file moving
Allows selection of multiple files
Compact display of file list (to minimize scrolling)
Deals with hidden and system files
Allows editing of file properties
Easy creation of Start Menu links
Will browse network shares

Not required but nice:
Finger-friendly
Visually integrated with modern WM (Total Commander looks very dated)
Registry editing (but I use PHM Regedit)

I'd be pretty happy just to have a working version of Total Commander, but on my TP2 it doesn't handle drag-and-drop and the mechanism for selecting a target folder is clunky since it always goes to the root of the device rather than the current folder.

Any recommendations?

i replaced total commander with resco explorer. its a paid app, not sure if you were looking for a free solution but its by far the best file manager/reg editor i have used

+1 on Resco Explorer. It's the first program I install after every ROM flash. However, it doesn't meet your "free" requirement. That is unless you are good at searching the internet!

Resco is the first application I install whenever I hard reset or get a new phone. It is by FAR the best file explorer out there. It is AMAZINGLY finger friendly and has awesome features including a built in registry editor, FTP client, Network browsing over wifi and virtual folders which work much like the libraries feature in windows 7.

I believe resco explorer has thread around here somewhere with a free download of their beta 3 release (good until the end of this month). Just a thought if you wanna check it out before buying.

Since mstevens OP listed "Free" as the 1st feature desired, I'd like to suggest GS Finder Plus. GSF+ has tons of options for configuring it to whatever works for you. You can even set it to always default to root or to last file/folder. However, it does not support FTP, which I'm guessing is what OP lists as "network shares?" Small footprint, very powerful - worth a try. More info and download link here:

since we're kinda on the resco explorer topic, here's a xbox 360 green skin for it.

Nope. I'm referring to drives or folders that are shared on a network. An example would be browsing my media drive on my home server from my Touch Pro 2. Total Commander has the ability to mount such shares as folders.

I don't actually have any use for FTP.
