My point is $5 is minimal to pay for something you can use for quite some time. I personally have only paid for 2 apps for my phone to date and this is one of them. (Aside from donating to a few of the great people of PPCG.) But then, it's your decision. It is either worth it to you or not. Keep in mind that this app has only been out for about a month now and it is only going to get better.

Ok you have convinced me. After purchasing this app, will I be able to update it with the new version when available for free?

Anything in the current major release. Example: You would be purchasing v1.0.3 so anything up to 1.9.9 would be free. When the next major (v2.0) comes out you may have to pay again.

I`m using the latest Mightyrom and getting the GS_JSON_PARSE_ERROR everytime I search for a song. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program a couple of times. Still on 5 minute trial. also using 1.03 nano groove

I have my wifi router turned on so a coworker can use his laptop right now so I cannot test it. Hopefully someone else can try it real quick to make sure that it is not just you. Otherwise check back in 45 min and I should have had a chance to test it.

EDIT: I don't know what I was thinking, using my wifi router doesn't stop my phone from accessing data. I cannot get nanogroove to initialize at the moment. Looks like something is up. I'll email support. Hopefully I get a quick response.

WoW. I try out the Slacker Radio cab and it gets blocked just before I can use it. Then, minutes later, I give nanogroove a try, No dice! LMAO! There will be days like this. Hopefully one or both will return shortly.:drunken:

No response from nanoGroove yet. I've been working on CellGuyMods all night so I don't even have nanoGroove installed to see if it is working yet. Just thought I'd let you guys know I am still trying to find out what's going on.

We all want that one. I think the developers see this as a priority. I'm hoping it's implemented in the next release.

Wow thanks a ton I was just playing with Titanium yesterday wishing i had a proper icon for nanogroove.

anyway I just had the best idea so we all know nanogroove keeps a single mp3 named groovy on the phone as a local cache for the song it is playing. Well I pointed my phones ringtone to that groovy.mp3 and now My ringtone changes to whatever i was recently listening to in nanogroove.

edit: oh the little things in life, I have spent the last 30 min. playing different songs trying to find a good ringtone for my next ringtone haha. I think Ill go with the Olympic fanfare for now.

how are you using slacker, isn't the app unuseable after the first day of release? or is that just for the free accounts?

Re: The **Official** nanoGroove thread v1.0.4 released (2.12.10)

I never got the windows mobile app its not released yet, but I heard somewhere there is a beta one that leaked. I do have the G1 player, pretty much stoped using it. What pisses me off about slacker is some artists wont play, im not pissed pissed but a good exmaple is Bob Segar and other artists that dont want there music on digital services. I also wish slacker would promote premium radio more too. Its like grooveshark and lets you save songs on slacker. But they wont let you make playlists like grooveshark. I just want nano to make it so you can do play all and add all button to add songs. Thats good enough for me for now or cacheing. :)

Sorry guys, I have no more information to give at the moment. As soon as I hear something, I will let you know.

As for slacker, there is a working version out there. We cannot post it in these forums though.

Re: The **Official** nanoGroove thread v1.0.4 released (2.12.10)

Sure you can. It's no longer a beta version, and it's from an official ROM now. Get it from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=141 you need an XDA account though...which everyone should have.

Hmmm... My nanogroove just quit working. Getting a gs parse error when trying to play a song on 1.04 version. New version needed again?

I will pass that along. I agree that the site could use either some kind of forum style interaction or at the very least a twitter/blog link.

Funny, one minute it was working and now a failure to initialize problem again even after a soft reset.

I wonder if it is being blocked again...

I know I know- this is the nanoGroove thread. But this isn't really their thread. Celguy started it and so- Celguy, if this post bothers you I will edit it so it is blank.

Scilor has taken over development of Groovefish (the free Grooveshark client for WinMo). He has released alphaV3 that works. You cannot access your play lists from Grooveshark, but you can create your own play list on your device. You can also save your play list to your device. I just thought some folks may not know about the fix and may be interested in supporting Scilor's work.

I don't mind at all. I wish Scilor would have taken over a long time ago. I'll have to stop by XDA and check it out.
