Saving pics to SD
This is what I did on my 6700 to save pics to the SD card (thnx to Pzztgotbagz for the tip):
In camera mode, click on the tools (that's the squarish button with the screwdrivers) => Tools => Options => General => Save to, pick Storage Card. That did the trick for me. Almost forgot, I think you need to creat \my documents\my pictures in your storage card, and change \my documents\my pictures in \my device to something different, like suggested in the first post (I think). I think it was sugge ted to do: \my documents\_my pictures. I think, not 100% sure that if you don't have \my storage card\my documents\my pictures, when you take a new pic with your camera, a \my documents\my pictures folder will be created. Sorry if I'm rambling, but my headache's killing me. -O |
Thanks for this cab file. Works great on my XV6700 with wm6

I got this to work, but I had to rename the My Pictures folder in My Documents in order to get the program to view pics on my SD. But what it really does is search my device for all JPGs which includes ones in Program files, windows, etc. The folder on my SD is DCIM which is the default for the Camera App. I can't rename it to My Pictures or next time the camera starts it creates the DCIM folder again. Any ideas?

Forgot to mention I have a Samsung i760 w/ WM6.

Downloaded and runs great on my PPC 6800. Damn right nice too. Uses a chunk of memory while active but its neglible since I run one app at a time and close after use anyhow.
But the interface is sweet! Thanks for posting! |
i tried to download this on my mogul and its telling me " the central directory was not found in the archive (or you were trying open a disk other then the last disk of a multi disk archive). What does that mean, am I doing something wrong. Thanks for the help

Like ivtec20 and kcaegis45 before, I too wish to unlock the secret HTC Photo Album uses to order pics. In fact, I want this so badly, I've spent hours doing trial & error, only to find every trial ending in error. I've ruled out file name, order saved, last modified date, and even date created doesn't matter. Arrgh. The only thing my trials have proved for sure, besides the 4 aforementioned being failures, is that the order stays the *same* even after re-creating an album pic via cutting from a BMP scan and creating a new JPG! So, the program must be using SOME specific thing consistently.
|
i can't figure out the re-ordering either!

Awesome program. Works great on my 6800

I'm having a problem with the program just shutting itself down while in use. Anyone else had this problem and / or know how to fix it?

I've already tried changing all the .lnk files that point to pimg.exe to instead point to htcalbum.exe, but no joy. I also tried editing the following API entries in the registry: :MSCAMERA [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\RAI\:MSCAMERA] ["1"=reg_sz:pimg.exe -camerakey] changed to ["1"=reg_sz:htcalbum.exe] :MSPIMG [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\RAI\:MSPIMG] ["1"=reg_sz:pimg.exe] changed to ["1"=reg_sz:htcalbum.exe] Nothing has worked so far. Does anyone know what the camera application calls for the picture viewer? Is it hard-coded to call pimg.exe? That would be fine, I could just rename htcalbum.exe to pimg.exe (that'd probably work if there wasn't a self-reference in there)...but I can't overwrite pimg.exe! Does anyone know how to do that?! Thanks! |
