What do you mean? We import contacts from your phone to the web or vis versa but I'm not sure if I completely understand your question...

Are you using the latest Dashwire Mobile client (http://m.dashwire.com)? Are you running WinMo 6.1 and want to try our latest release (http://m.dashwire.com/beta)?

I think it was in reference to importing from other services like gmail, yahoo, etc...

I don't think this is necessary, since all you need to do is enter the contacts into your PC or phone, and they sync to the dashwire site.

I bet there are ways to get your gmail/yahoo contacts imported into Outlook onto your PC, via CSV etc...

Gotcha. If that's what was meant, then we don't import from 3rd party sites. There probably are some work-arounds like you said though. Good thinkin

Importing from CSV or whatever. I want to export my Gmail contacts and import them into Dashwire so I don't have to do it 1 by 1.

I know I can export and import. I want to import right into Dashwire. If they want to make this service work well, then I shouldn't have to depend on Outlook at all.

Agree with you. Plan is to roll out contact imports during our holiday release (plus lots of other goodies...).

Unfortunately, for now the workarounds will have to do. Hoping to change that though...

Enjoy your weekends!

also I understand your just trying to keep up with the latest & greatest right now (greatest can be argued), and wm devices are still waiting for thier latest... ggrrrrr, stupid FCC..(more like poorly ran after Reagan)
just wanted to be counted as one who has stopped using outlook.

Idea for Dashwire

So I've got my wife's mogul synced with Dashwire but the other day, her phone died while we were out and she needed a number off her contacts. We were in the car and I had my phone and thought it'd be nice to log into my.dashwire.com and get a mobile interface that lets you search your contacts, etc. I know this probably won't be a normal situation because people will usually be able to log into their dashwire account from a pc or laptop but it'd be nice to have when this happens.

I also thought about using skyfire to log in but by the time I thought about it she said nevermind.
