Sprint Mobile Email

Sprint Mobile Email by 7systems. Put this url in your sprint PPC and you should be able to download and install to the device. I have not successfully gotten this to work on my Apache w/ WM6 R0 yet. I have gotten my free yahoo and my aim email accounts to work on my Mogul and i expect the others to work with no problems. It seems that you can only setup one email account. Post back your success and problems. Good luck

This should give you access to AOL, AIM, Yahoo, gmail, and other pop access. I hope we can get this working on all sprint PPCs.

What exactly does this do?

I already have my Sprint e-mail as a POP3 account.

I am still testing this now but this appears to be direct push email from Sprint. Very cool, no HTML tho :(

Update: Turned off pop mail on my gmail and sent a test message from my other mail account, it went through so this is indeed push mail but it only pushes every 15 minutes, that's the minimum setting. But free push mail is free push mail still very nice.

doesn't this kill your battery?

mail2web is free and pushes when email is received.

if it 'pushes' every 15min - that's not a push - that's checking every 15min

Is mail2web direct push just for their e-mail or for all your POP3/IMAPs?

Pibe38 10-21-2007 10:12 PM

It's for their e-mail. But you can forward all your other addresses to it, they even have an aggregator to help you with it.

Stop by the General Discussion forum, there's a thread with a tutorial and LOTS of info on mail2web there.

I have, for a long time and still do live by mail2web as well but I am digging this set up as well. Works well and you can set up additional push partners I have outlook setup with mail2web and this set up with my gmail that I use for work. Now I can turn off my gmail after work and still get my fun stuff from mail2web. Best of all its all sent to me through push mail.
