Xtra is the "live channels" like MSNBC, C-SPAN, Discovery, TLC etc which is an extra $10 a month, it can be found in the Sprint TV Xtra folder.

what the..sometimes the video starts playing for about 5-10 seconds then shuts itself off and my backlight also turns off but the phones still functional any reason as to why?

I got a question. I had this on the Moto Q and it let me watch what ever channel i wanted. I just picked up the htc touch and it wants me to pay. I even installed the cab from my moto q to the touch but nothing. Is there a way to get around paying for channels. On my old Q i could watch whatever

No, and I think that's the reason why alot of us are having issues with this application is because Sprint is trying to lock it down more so you are required to pay for the service.

so i have the mogul will i get charged if i hit the subscribe button i have 15 dollar powervision

Yes, I would think you would. The $15 Powervision gives you like 7 channels

Are you actually able to subscribe? If I hit the subscribe button it just says it can't proccess my request at this time.
