Actually, no.

CABs are just like installers. If you delete the installer file, it will not delete the app after being installed.

I have not installed this yet, so I can't corroborate if it shows under Remove Programs or not. Did you not back up?

Always back up before installing a new/uncomfirmed app.

Have you tried connecting to a PC and check the Add/Remove Programs on ActiveSync? It's a long shot, but it's a shot...

no i have not tried that. ill give that a shot right now.

EDIT: its not there. looks like it installs like how "On Demand" is on the device. o well. my device is running fine with it. i just wanted to try it out but since i have a slingbox i wont really be using it.

what if i just delete "Sprint TV" folder in the program files on the device? I'm sure this wouldnt work and doesnt sound like a good idea but thought i would ask.

Ive Had it on my phone for about a month now. I got mine from a touch, we got to play with before its release.

I work for ATS for sprint. We get phones to play with, and try to break a few months before its launch.

So we extracted all of the cabs from the phone and installed it :D

do you guys think that if i subscribed to sprint tv premium or whatever that it would work for this seeing as how its not an "official" release?

Yeah, I believe it would work just the same, why would it not?

I had the same issue with the 7000 error, all I did to get past it was click on the touch screen and it bypassed the tutorial video or whatever and took your right to the channel selection screen. I hope that helps, it works great for me!

imneveral0ne 10-20-2007 04:59 PM

so has anyone taken the plunge yet and subscribed to one of the services?

To better re-word it, whoever has the Power Vision "ULTIMATE PACK" (or wants to test the monthly add-on) please let us know if all the channels work. I'm almost positive they well, why not? I personally wouldn't subscribe extra per month though.

i just subscribed to sprint tv live and it works, im calling now to see if they have any charges on my account for it
