I'm not gonna go as far as a hard reset to get it to work but if someone wants to try that please be sure to let me know! More of a reason to get a SlingBox ! Gnite guys.

You just named the sole reason I've been adament on getting this to work! When time comes around for me to update my ROM or hard reset for some reason, maybe it will work then! =)

Well I am happy to announce its not only back up this am but now we have 3 options again.
Sprint tv , more chanels and the sprint tv en vivo
using wi-fi.

I have now taken the new cache files for this and copied over to the storage card for safe keeping.

Waste of Time

I have tried loading the cache files, both cabs, and a hard reset and this does not work. Tried on a Q and a Mogul. I am wondering if it has something to do with the provisioning at Sprint. I may call them and tell them that my phone is not a Mogul and that it is a Touch, just to see if that changes anything. Past that, this has been a huge waste of time.

Personally, I think I am better off just using Orb (not wasting money on a SlingBox either). It is free, and I can add any Video Podcast or Internet TV Channel I like (ABC News, CNN, etc.). The other good thing is that you can adjust the download speed for when you are in an area where the connection is slow.

maybe its just me... I haven't been able to find the attached files anywhere in this post... I keep seeing download the files here but no link... I am browsing from my apache with pie as I don't get to the desktop at home much... can someone send me the URL to get these files?

Squobug 11-13-2007 12:24 PM

I installed the sprint tv 1000 and the cache file and it worked for me...the only problem I'm having now it that it only allows me to see a few channel. Is there any way I can fix this. I tried looking for a subscription but there were none available in the menu.

if anyone still has issues after extracting the cache folder, one thing to try is to remove the menu folder that is in the sprinttv folder BEFORE you extract. We had 4 6800's that couldn't get on before we removed that menu folder before the extract... Seems there is an extra file in there that doesn't get overwritten or something.
