Rockin! Thanks for this post!

Watching Adult Swim on my Mogul... yum!

Gilliland 11-04-2007 08:53 AM

Apparently I'm missing something here. I have no trouble installing and running this application on my Mogul, but for the life of me I can't figure out why anyone would want to.

First of all, the application seems to insist on running upside-down. If there's a way to get it to run as a normal widescreen app, I can't find it.

Secondly, there doesn't seem to be any content other than brief snippets, most of which are previews or commercials for shows or movies.

I tried loading the Weather Channel forecast for my city - it told me all about the weather for last week, including a preview of our Halloween weather! Now that's useful!

Seriously, what's the appeal? Is there something hiding here that I haven't discovered?

Go into SprintTV options and uncheck Always Open SprintTV in Full Screen Mode

Now it will run in portrait mode and if you want landscape, select Options/Full Screen and it will flip to full screen on the Mogul's landscape side.

Thanks. I had tried that, and the application ignored it completely - even after I had closed and restarted it. But the next time around, it worked just as you described. Not sure what went wrong, but it's OK now.

Now if I could just find something of value among the listings. Is there some way to get to more than just what I see on the main SprintTV menu?

It's not like you are paying for it, so why complain. Anyway I was watching live channels like abc, speed, and others, so maybe you are not looking hard enough, which you are not, or else you would have found your different views in the option/settings menu.

I can watch Comedy Central live among other channels, plus full episodes on ABC and CBS, so no it's not all just clips.

I was initally only getting a few channels as well, but I noticed in the programs section that I had 2 Sprint TV icons. I uninstalled performed a soft reset and then re-installed the updated CAB. The CAB was saved to the phones memory. Now I get a lot more channels.

I would suggest uninstalling Sprint TV from your phone. Perform a soft reset and then re-install with saving the CAB in the main memory of the phone. Hope this helps you.
