Ok... I know that I had the same issue with HTC Home and that's because there's a registry entry that makes the plugin stick to the top and unmovable. This same option, also made the plugin unplaceable within Shell's and Plus's tabs.

You can try this at your own risk... but it worked for me an many others with HTC Home.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\TODAY\ITEMS\HTC HOME
change TYPE from 5 to 4
You can see that one is specific for HTC Home, however, under \ITEMS you should find most, if not all, of your other plugins.

The one I was never able to figure out was Newsbreak. I use it too and it already is type 4, but it still doesn't show.

Didn't even think to check the TYPE value on those plugins. I will do it tomorrow and see what happens. :)

OK budney, I took the risk for you so you don't have to... and confirm that it really worked.

I just don't understand for the people who bought mobile shell...what are they supposed to do now? This latest pocket plus blows mobile shell away...totally blows it away.

I also didn't notice any speed issues, when I installed SPB PP first after a hard reset. Mind you, I do have other programs installed, it's just I installed this one first. Didn't notice an extra drain in battery, but uncheck all the apps you will not be using the scrolling feature.

Way to go SPB...you've done it again.

Edit: Things they can improve:

1. Make a visible task switcher on Start bar that can be moved (like handyswitcher)
2. Allow you to auto-arrange icons by centering, justifying, etc (like ilauncher)
3. Add basic weather features like mobile shell
4. Allow the tab icon to be battery meter like mobile shell
5. Allow defaulting to specified tab after timeout value

that's all I can think of right now

PP+4 has an option to make it not "on top" of the today screen - it's under options/advanced tab. It's the only option.

Yes. But this is for the OTHER plugins that cannot be placed on the PP+4 tabs, not for PP+4 itself.

u might be able to use a utilities program like sktools or memmaid to "unpin" those plugins such as htc home, the date plugin, etc and then try to incorporate them in one of those tabs

That's what the reg edit I posted above does ;)

Thanks wing! :)

I did try the reg edit this morning, and it didn't do a darn thing for me. :???: But changing "Selectability" from 1 to 0 in the XCast & Newsbreak folders fixed the issue for these two plugins. I can't seem to get the standard plugins to show no matter what I do. :disgust:
