Has anyone created an OEM of this for Helmi's Kitchen for Apache?

budney 10-19-2007 09:38 PM

I have been running this for a day now, and I am liking it a lot. No slow downs at all. I have experianced some freezing, but it may be more to do with the custom ROM I am running. Putting multiple plugins per tab is sweet. If I knew that these new features were to be included in this new version I would of not purchased Mobile Shell.

Are you folks still using PP+, did you remove it or buy it?

What's your thoughts?

bjhotch 10-24-2007 08:15 PM

I bought it. Quite frankly, I was using 3 when the trial ran out, so I bought 4. I've been pretty happy with it.

Now, about that OEM.... Anyone?? ;-)

been using it for a couple days and really like it, but anyone been able to tweak the finger scrolling? it works....ok. but would be nice to modify the settings. it just keeps scrolling and scrolling and then annoying to stop sometimes...

Anyone notice battery drain with this new version? I installed the demo and installed all options. Usually my battery is only down to 60-70% from a 7.15am to 7pm. But after installation, my battery was down to 30% in the same timeframe. I disabled the "file open/save dialog", "buttons", and "smart scrolling" and the battery is back to normal. Perhaps one of those options did me in?

Also, smart scrolling on the Treo's small screen doesn't work too well. :) Other than that, I did notice this loads faster than the previous version of pocket plus.

Over all I like it. Makes me wish I didn't buy Mobile Shell. The great thing is I have a little more memory available, as I have replaced three programs with PP+. I have noticed a little more battery drain then normal, but nothing alarming. Their are a couple of things that bother me. First is the plugin list dose not display all the the plugins on my device. Second is the program doesn't refresh it self when switching from landscape back to portrait.

Pibe38 10-24-2007 10:46 PM

What plugins isn't it displaying?

budney 10-24-2007 11:09 PM

I can not choose to put these plugins in a tab when using PP+.
