Does your Touch have Wi-Fi built in? If not, then no it won't work.

I just came onto an odd occurrance: I use the program at the airport at my gate so my customers don't have to signup for a day for $10 on the regular wifi while they're waiting to board.

I had a passenger waiting with a Vodaphone E61 and asked for internet access. I said, "Sure just wait a minute." I fired up the WiFiRouter program and it connected just fine, but she couldn't find it. Her phone picked up all the other airport wifi hotspots, but not WMWiFiRouter.

I know the program was working because i showed it to some tech guys just an hour before this occurred. Is the european wifi chips different than ours (Vodaphone)?

Remember that this program sets up an ad-hoc (i.e. peer-to-peer) network, as opposed to a router-based network (not sure of the technical term). Some devices can't see ad-hoc networks; perhaps the E61 is one of them.
