Looks like I'm a few days late - but I'd like to recommend PIM Backup and Sashimi. PIM Backup is is great for all the things it supports and Sashimi is great for restoring everything. I haven't gotten into Sashimi too much yet though, so I can't attest for it. But I am seeing that it can make restoring your settings and customizations REALLY easy.

you really should use sashimi.
I use UC to install sashimi.
then just open sashimi and bam, install all the rest of my stuff.
it's amazing!

SASHIMI will actually install itself and launch if you navigate to \Storage Card\SASHIMI\Program|Bin and just click on the Sashimi executable file. No need for UC at all once you've got it configured.

Re: Htc Touch Pro Registry Tweaks

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, and it works with both the Touch Pro and Diamond -- This registry tweak will eliminate the lag when taking a picture with the camera. It'll also help eliminate a lot of those 'ghosting' pictures that I'm sure all of you have taken.

In your favorite registry editor go to:
HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera/Captparam/
and set
CaptureTimer = 0 (default=5000 - in DEC)

If this helps you please hit the thanks button. :)
