Change click sounds

Is there anyway to change the default sounds you get when you tap somewhere on the screen. Or can you make sounds when you open or close a document.

Thanks all!

Bump. I would like to know this too. I know the Wisbar Themes come with some sounds, but I would like to integrate those sounds without installing the program.

I have installed a crossbow theme. This not only changes the click buttons, but also adds a new startup sound on the boot screen, new notification sounds. It sounds much better IMO.

All you need to do is search the \Windows directory or look in the kitchen for the sound file you want to change and then replace/overwrite it with one you want.

Ive been looking for name of the file for a while now. None of the sound files on the phone or kitchen have the sound. All i can think is that it is in an exe or a dll.

I liked the Wisbar Vista theme, but I liked all the sounds the Wisbar iphone theme has. WM6 is pretty much the Vista theme, but I want to have the iphone sounds (that also has a startup sound. It's named Startups.wav)

I'm looking at the sound files that come with the iphone theme I just mentioned. Should I just add these to the /Windows directory? I want to assign sounds to different functions (i.e. Start menu click, soft key click, window close, hyperlink click/file click). I don't know what name to assign each sound with its respective function.

Thanks for the help.

Talking ScreenTap Sound

After several hours of searching the internets , and then the kitchen. I finally found where the "Screen Tap" and " Hardware Button" Sounds are.
But there is a problem. The files can only be edited when the rom is still in kitchen form. The fine name is "waveapi.dll.0409.mui" and it is in a folder with the same name (waveapi.dll.0409.mui) in the kitchen.

You need to edit the file with "Resource Hacker".

So far I've found these, but I'm not sure about the others. I can't find them in the windows folder anyway.

hwandsw.wav Stylus click sound
menupop.wav Start menu click sound

You have to Take the sound you want and copy it into the windows folder and then rename it to ( Alarm1 ) and if it ask to overwrite you say yes and then restart and There you Go ..

Just still ( Or Someone ) hasnt figured out how to make it sound when shuting Off

Hopes This Helps
