Master PPC Reg Database

I would like to discuss the possibility of creating a master ppc registry database. It's not a new idea and I've made several feeble attempts, but gave up due limitations in my knowledge & ability.

I know there are several threads and sites dedicated to this, but all of them are in thread or list form. This method makes it hard to know which ones are for different carriers, devices, ect.. I know I have spent countless hours searching and building my own lists, which just further confuses me.

I am thinking with an master database, you could select your device, carrier, O/S, software, ect.. and have the associated entries available to you. users could upload/include their tweaks and experience. The private/personal entries could be flagged to not be public, but the structure could be captured to aid in updating the database with the latest software. this would have some sort of rating system for the variations. maybe a note section to describe what it does.

A simple way to do it is just have a query that asks for you to type in your carrier, then your O/S version, then your device which isn't hard at all to do. Then have someone be like a DBA for it and then keep all information current or a group DBA

I hope this can get off the ground... I love the idea.. I have no knowledge in registry inputs or how to set up a database.. But if you need any other help, send me a PM.
