Cody,

Thanks a ton for doing this - I think it's great how you're helping everybody out.

Here's a link with more info. http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...tml#post647390

Basically, I'm hoping you are able to take the file named AudioPara.csv coarse ear extended speaker.zip, rename it to AudioPara.csv, and overwrite the current file in /windows named AudioPara.csv. I've tried this and it help with in call volume. The other files I attached would do a similar thing. Different people may have different preferences as to which one they use. The thread I linked to actually has a few more options.

Is something like this possible?

Again, thanks for all the help. This makes rebuilding after a hard reset much easier.
This post has been thanked 2 times.

Cody,

I noticed another csv file for the Touch here, http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=13962. Could you make a cab for that please?

you dont need a cab file for this. Just download the file rename the file and copy and paste in the windows directory on the ppc. Make sure you make a copy of the original file just in case you dont like the new settings.

EDIT you might also need Total Commander or a program like it. Its just a better version (IMO) of a file explorer

I can't speak for him, but i sure need it. I can't replace a file in the Windows directory. It's protected. Despite multiple posts in multiple threads, nobody ever answers the question how I overcome this.

I am using the Verizon VX6800.

I know it's stupid, but let me answer my own question. A 2nd party file manager that can change the attributes of the audiopara.csv file is needed.

So you're right. We don't need a CAB for this.

tried all this but it seems my audiopara.cvs is read-only. I tried changing this parameter using total commander (maybe I have to the full version, can't remember if TE is trialware or limitedware or whateverware)

I'm a semi-noob feeling like a true noob this PM! What am I missing? something basic I'll bet.

Thanks
