A2DP BT Hack Question

update... all the zip files have a text file in them that tells you what we changed.

details of the attached cabs...

BatteryAndPerformanceHack = increases battery life and adds speeds performance
MmsSizeLimitHack = increases mms size limit
NoSentMessage removes the "message sent" message when sending text messages.
A2DP_BT_Hack = improves bt audio
TitleBarDateHack = adds date and time in titel bar

I looked at the cab file for the A2DP BT Hack using NotePad, and I couldn't see this reg hack:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd
Add "Priority256 "= dword:60 (Use Dword Value)

Maybe it's not readable with NotePad, but is that really in there?

Does anyone remember the reg hack to decrease the strength of the vibratation. I remember seeing it a while back, and was happy with the results. But I can't find where to make the change anywhere.

This is a great battery gauge, and takes up very little screen space:

I was told that Vista was only for smartphones and won't work on the 6700, 6800, etc.

Yeah I use it to disable SMS sent messages. I tryed the reg edit and it didn't work so I use PPC-6800 Hacks. The program lets you change basicaly everything on your Mogul (colors, vibration strength, no LEDs, improve Bluetooth, camera save orientation, title bar clock, operator name). You have to register to download but just enter tpstps for the username and password. Hope that helps.

hey with viewing the sites normally as opposed to mobile version, it says the cab is not made for my OS. I installed it waited a few mins and did a soft reset. it didnt work. I dont have the sprint crap on my phone, would that effect it?

I've got the verizon version and can only read 1.7gb of my 6gb card. I've tried a couple of the sdhc cabs - nothing works. had to do a hard reset to get it to even see the card again. does anyone have a solution to this problem. what a pain. i returned the i760 to get this phone and it still won't read the frickin' card. I've done a few searches and haven't found a thread specific to verizon's version.

I'm on 2.17 with 1.40 Radio... I have not had any ill effect from using these registry hacks. In fact, even with the 1.47.01 radio, most of these should still apply.

you need led killer. 3.1 did it for me. the others had conflicts with one or another program. i hope that helps

do you think that any of these hacks will cause other issues ? meaning - i know ive read before that if you did a certain battery tweak, then it would cause something else to not work correctly on your phone. anyone aware of any of these types of issues?

date in title bar worked great too a min to work and i soft reset it but works good. time and date is small because they r stacked. but not bad nice work

Hi everyone,

In an effort to assist the folks in this thread, I want to announce that I have taken some time to post and document all of the registry tweaks that I make on my Mogul to the FTP site.

The 1st_ReadMe.txt file is the documentation of what each tweak does-- in both descriptive format and the registry values changed.

I have posted the files in both .reg and .cab formats. The .reg files are useful for those who want to tweak the settings first for your own use. The .cab files are useful for users who just want to install them quickly, without hassle.

WARNING: I have only tested these patches on the HTC Titan (Mogul) phone. If you install them on other phones and they screw up your settings, just uninstall the patches (if you used the .cab versions) or hard reset your phone.

If any of the .cab files do not install for your (error during install), please let me know, and I will fix the .cab.

Finally, I will continue to post patches in the future as they become relevant to me, although I'm willing to do requests as time permits.

Depends on what you're referring to, but the whole ROM and the Extended_ROM packages are all available on the FTP site in various folders under Titan.

Note: MJPEG video quality better. hopefully this edits works.

ok, i fixed the first one and made the 2nd and 3rd one in the cab below. i did it fro all three sizes.

their is another registry edit that fixes the issue with internet sharing from dialing #777 but i cant find the thread i think these two fixes in a single cab would be nice and easy and work well for hiding teathering... atleast its hidden it so far

find it and give some good detail and i'll cab it up.

can you guys make one to get the "running programs" icon in the programs folder. After installing DCD 1.6.7 i dont have "running programs'' in my programs folder. More importantly HTC doest give me the option of adding it to my app launcher in HTC home. I really dont care if its in the prgram folder, i just really want to be able to add it to my app launcher in HTC home

Anyway to increase the vibration on a I760. I saw the registry edit to reduce, but will that work in reverse. I checked the registry on the I760 and the OEM key does not exist.

I installed the battery and performance cab file.... I will see if battery lasts longer...

I installed the video enhancements hack.... didn't find anything it did at all. I soft rebooted, I looked at all the settings etc but didn't find any different settings or resolutions... How do I know it is there?

Is there anything to stop the phone keypad delay????

HTC Random Access Cab?

Not quite sure if or why it hasn't been done yet, but the OEM files are avail at XDA but no cab file with the needed registry tweak. I have attached the files that need to go into the windows directory and this is the reg setting that routes "contacts" to go to Random Access:
HKey_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\ :MSCONTACTS
name="1"
datatype="string"
value="RandomAccess.exe"

This makes finger sorting through your contacts very easy. I am not sure this works on many devices, but it does work on all versions of the Touch (Sprint not tested?) and should work with any WM6 device with touchflo added.
