WI FI re-broadcast

OK guys, you guys are the smartest group i know to ask. So here is the problem.

What im trying to do is connect my phone to my computer for my internet connection (which is no problem) but what im trying to do then is use the wifi adapter in my COMPUTER to rebroadcast that internet connection to the rest of my house or wherever i am without having to have the phone plugged into that computer. . . . it sounds a little more difficult that what i think is possible. if anyone has any kind of information they could throw my way. links. programs. whatever helps guys. and if i have this in the wrong forum, im sorry.
