Suggestion: Code to make reg changes on the fly for calender support.

I have my TP currently syncing with email and contacts through Mail2web, and tasks and Calender go through my laptop for work. I have noticed that if I go in to the REG
HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Activesync/partners/
I can go into my mail2web account and force it to sync my calender and tasks. This works fine, but I cannot sync to my laptop when it is set like this, so I have to remove before connecting to my computer to prevent a sync error. I am wondering if there is any way to have an app force the registry changes so I can switch it on and off more easily.

The reason I want to have this option is that I will get calls from clients when I am at home, and have left my laptop at work, it would be easier to update my calender on the desktop instead of having to ask them to hold while I check on my phone. It is also easier to make changes on a PC than a phone. I have no experience writing apps so any assistance or Ideas would be appreciated.
