i've been using pocketcm for a while now. and i've never experienced the bugs you are having. its usually one of the first installs i do after a hard reset. if you don't mind the trouble i would suggest hard reseting and start from scratch. just my suggestion... that might clear up some issues you are having

i think i should be fine for now.

i got everything working, i've already got my interface i wanted setup, and my battery life's amazing. so i don't want to add anymore apps :] and im fine with text messaging through the regular program.

I am using version 0.20b on my HTC Touch from Sprint. My issue with it is that it wont open up SMS messages when they come up like the previous versions did. I still get the notification Icon on my Taskbar and the message at the bottom of the screen.

I set the options to bring PocketCM to the front with SMS so all it will do is take me to the SMS screen on PocketCM but not to the actuall message.

Is there a way to make it be the default interceptor of SMS's and actually start up PocketCM and take me straight to the message when I get an SMS or is that just the way it works?

It used to be like what happens when you click on contacts anywhere on your phone, where it opens up PocketCM since I sets itself as the default Contact Manager. Before it did the same for SMS, it would start up and show me the message when I got one using PocketCM (or atleast I thought it did) but this new version doesnt do it for me. Am I missing something?

im not sure. i just said to hell with the threaded sms convenience.

since i usually don't have more than one text conversation going on anyways.

i don't know, but .18 was recommended. i'd just try out all the different versions til one works if i were you hahah. i went through a few then just stuck with .10 just because i just liked the look and the threaded SMS isn't so important to me anymore.

Whats up everyone! Quick question. Im using PCM 0.20 and when I go to sms someone, the keyboward and everything will come up, but when I actually begin to type the letters, nothing shows up. Im using the PCM Keyboard btw. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone now how to fix this problem? Thanks.

Sorry... I dont have that problem... just play around with the settings and i hope it will work for ya!
